Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Surveyor Field Engineer to support the Cheyenne Power Hub Project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. You will perform survey activities to support the construction of the CCGT Area, using design drawings and CAD deliverables, while maintaining survey control networks and producing as-built records.

You will collaborate with Field Engineering and Field Supervision, ensuring data accuracy and safety across multiple scopes.

Qualifications

• Requires a land surveying degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant field/office experience, or 6–9 years without a degree.
• Experience with robotic total stations, digital levels, and GNSS survey systems.
• Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to field conditions.
• Proficient with MS Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Layout construction work and record field data per project specs.
• Maintain the project survey control network and produce CAD deliverables.
• Support safety, quality, and environmental programs on site.
• Prepare daily progress reports and as-built records.
