Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Survey Division Manager for our Hampton Roads, Virginia office. This full-time leadership role will oversee field and office surveying teams, manage projects, and drive client relationships. Active VA LS credential required; travel to field sites is occasional.

Ideal candidates demonstrate extensive surveying experience, strong project management, and the ability to grow the business through proposals and marketing initiatives while ensuring QA/QC and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Field/Land Surveying experience.
• 3+ years of land surveying project management.
• Active VA LS credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide management & administrative support for surveying operations and related work.
• Review, approve, and seal technical documents and drawings.
• Perform QA/QC review of survey plans, descriptions, and layouts.
• Conduct site visits and field observations as required.
• Guide internal departments on survey-related issues.
• Track financial performance of the group.
• Communicate with clients regularly and assist with new work proposals.
• Assist with AR and marketing efforts, including proposals.
• Develop marketing strategies and maintain tech proficiency.
• Train employees; travel to field locations as needed.
