Job summary

The Data Technician role at Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. (APC) is an onsite position in Lafayette, CO.

You will perform technically complex surveying and mapping tasks, review field data for accuracy, and convert data into precise drawings and project documents. You will use Trimble Business Center to process field data for AutoCAD imports, perform QA/QC, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with the project team to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of mathematics used in field survey analysis.
• Working knowledge of Auto CAD.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to draft reports and letters.

Responsibilities

• Execute technically complex surveying and mapping assignments.
• Review field survey data for accuracy and compliance.
• May manage multiple projects at one time with limited supervision.
• Interact professionally with internal and external clients.
• Convert data into drawings and project documents with accuracy and speed.
• Process field crew data using Trimble Business Center for AutoCAD imports.
• Perform QA/QC on work and mentor less experienced Data Techs.
• Coordinate with PM and Field Crew to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Provide technical expertise to internal personnel.
• Handle data processing from various survey equipment.
