Job description

Halff has a current opening for a Survey Crew Member in our North Little Rock, AR location.

This position involves working on a field crew, assisting a Party Chief by operating conventional and GPS survey equipment to accurately measure topographic features and boundary evidence, supporting land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects. Halff employees are eligible for additional benefits and can participate in a rewarding ESOP plan after working 1,000 hours in their initial year. Eligibility begins at the start of the quarter following the one-year anniversary.

Entering the ESOP allows you to receive company stock based on established schedules for stock valuation and distributions. Requirements:

• Prefer 1 year of experience in surveying, including topographic, ALTA, boundary, or construction staking.
• Prefer experience with Trimble GPS and conventional equipment.
• Understanding of computer technology is required.
• Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are essential, with very little room for error.
• Ability and willingness to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Dependability regarding punctuality and attendance is required.
• Availability to work starting at 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
• Overtime and weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Travel up to two weeks at a time, up to 50%, may be required.
