Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. seeks a Survey Crew Member to join our field team in Wilmington, NC. The position supports land surveying tasks using conventional, robotic, and GPS methods and requires ability to travel for out-of-town assignments.

Ideal candidates bring experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations, plus strong data handling skills and a valid driving record. Per diem and lodging are provided for travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in land surveying preferred; knowledge of conventional, robotic, and GPS surveying required.
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and have satisfactory driving record per MVR policy.
• Ability to travel out of town as needed; some overnight travel provided with per diem and lodging.
• Experience with Route surveying and utility mapping is a plus (SUE skills).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Navigation programs and Trimble Data Transfer is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain driving record per MVR policy.

• Submit daily files and timesheets; assist with data organization and vehicle navigation.

ESP Associates, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Survey Crew Member to join our team in Wilmington, NC.

Qualifications

• Experience in land surveying preferred. Position requires comprehensive knowledge conventional, robotic and GPS surveying functions including static, fast static, RTK, and VRS.
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations required.
• Ability to travel out of town as needed.
• Various types of Route surveying as well as SUE skills and utility mapping experience a plus.
• Computer skills involved in the submittal of daily files including downloading of data, preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs, completion of daily checklists & timesheets, and vehicle navigation are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Navigation programs and Trimble Data Transfer a plus.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.
• Position does include some out of town travel for which meal per diem, and lodging are provided.
• This position is subject to outside environmental conditions.
