Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions, survey maps, engineering plans and construction drawings.
• Registered PLS, LSIT, or actively pursuing licensure encouraged.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

GMB is accepting applicants for full-time Survey Party Chiefs who are experienced, energetic and goal oriented. Candidates submitting resumes should be able to lead field operations on a wide range of land development, construction, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who enjoys working outdoors, mentoring crews, and delivering accurate, high‑quality survey work with minimal supervision.

This position also offers a clear, supported career path toward Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure.

• 3+ years of surveying experience or equivalent education and experience
• Proven leadership experience supervising and mentoring field crews
• A.A. or B.S. in surveying, engineering, or related field is preferred
• Registered PLS, LSIT, or actively pursuing licensure is encouraged
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check
• Mentorship from licensed Professional Land Surveyors
