Qualifications

• Typically 3+ years of surveying experience/training.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of survey duties.
• Collaborate with officials, engineers, contractors, and supervisors in planning.
• Determine appropriate surveying techniques for each project.
• Collaborate with utilities to ensure surveys are properly executed for streets/easements.
• Gather survey data using GPS and other tools to map areas and measure angles, distances, elevations.
• Analyze plans and legal documents to plan and schedule work.
• Define boundaries for property and rights of way.
• Draft reports and documentation for surveys performed.
