Alta Environmental & Infrastructure is seeking a Crew Chief to lead field survey crews on diverse projects in Arizona. You will oversee construction, topographic, right-of-way, and control surveys, ensure data accuracy, and mentor junior crew members.
Responsibilities include data gathering with GPS and conventional methods, operating survey equipment, and maintaining records. Travel locally with potential overnight assignments; a valid driver's license is required.

The Crew Chief is responsible for leading a field survey crew in performing various types of surveys, including construction, topographic, right-of-way, and control surveys. This role involves overseeing field survey activities, ensuring the accuracy of data collected, maintaining field equipment, and integrating field data into finished maps and records. The Crew Chief acts as the senior field surveyor, providing guidance and training to crew members and ensuring that all survey activities adhere to safety and quality standards.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and rugged terrain. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Most assignments for this position will be done locally. However, assignments may occasionally be out of town and overnight travel could be required.
