Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field Survey Crew Chief to lead daily field operations on active civil projects. You will perform staking, data collection, and ensure accurate measurements on site, often outdoors and away from long travel rotations.

The role requires proficiency with GPS and total stations, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work extended hours. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay and solid benefits, with a strong emphasis on safety and craftsmanship in the field.

Qualifications

• Prior field surveying experience preferred.
• Exposure to construction layout and/or topographic surveying.
• Experience with GPS and total station equipment is a plus (training available).
• Ability to work extended hours and overtime.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily field tasks.

Job Details

The Survey Crew Chief leads daily field survey operations on active construction and civil projects. This position is responsible for layout, data collection, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of field measurements.
