Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Survey Crew Chief for a contract-to-hire role in Saginaw, MI. The candidate will lead the field crew on ALTA, boundary, topo, and construction staking projects, using GPS and robotic Total Station equipment.

This onsite position requires at least 3 years of field surveying experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work outdoors in varying weather and may occasionally schedule weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field surveying as a Crew Chief or Surveying Technician.
• Prior experience leading a crew is highly preferred
• Proficiency with GPS and robotic Total Station equipment
• Experience with ALTA, boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys
• Strong communication skills
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

Hours:

Hiring for first shift! Must be flexible to work Monday-Friday and some weekends

Onsite/field role- mist be willing to commute to Saginaw, MI

Must haves:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field surveying as a Crew Chief or Surveying Technician

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saginaw, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
