Our Eden Prairie and Maple Grove offices are expanding their surveying services, and we are looking for a qualified Survey Crew Chief to join our team.

Eden Prairie, MN or Maple Grove, MN

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to various job sites to collect survey data and site information.
• Gather field survey data to determine precise locations, measurements of points, elevations, contours, etc.
• Process survey data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Perform basic surveying calculations, deed research, deed plotting, and map checks.
• Conduct quality control checks on plats and drawings prepared by other technicians.
• Achieve project schedules and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of progressive field and office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, DTM projects, and construction surveys using GPS techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
• Experience with Trimble survey equipment.
• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and reliable work history.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
