Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a survey professional to operate data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment in field projects within Tennessee. You will lead field crews, ensure PPE usage, and coordinate with office staff and clients to meet project deadlines.

The role requires at least three years of survey experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel. Strong safety compliance and accurate timesheet reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of survey experience.
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys desirable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.

Job description

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview

Duties/Responsibilities

• Utilizing data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• File transfers will be performed remotely on a daily basis.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.
• Ensures crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
• Ensures crew follows company safety procedures.
• Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience conducting a variety of survey
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.

Physical Requirements

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
• Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
