Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks an experienced field survey professional in Atlanta, GA to perform surveying duties using data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment. The role requires leading day-to-day field crews, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and coordinating with office staff and clients.

Must travel as required and pass a pre-employment screen. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in surveying, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience conducting a variety of survey
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must be willing and able to travel as required for the role.

• Utilizing data collectors, robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• File transfers will be performed remotely on a daily basis.
• Leads crews on day to day operations.
• Ensures crew is properly equipped with personal protection equipment.
• Ensures crew follows company safety procedures.
• Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
• Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
• Monitors accurate completion of daily timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma/GED

• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys is desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
• Ability to carry required instruments and equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
