Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. seeks a motivated Survey CAD Technician to join our Fort Mill, SC team. You will prepare and revise survey drawings, process field data, and support accurate geomatics delivery within a multidisciplinary firm.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with project teams, and growth through diverse land surveying projects in a dynamic Engineering, Surveying, and Planning environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in surveying technology/geomatics or related field; SIT preferred but not required.
• 5+ years experience in land surveying preferred and field experience may be required.
• Experience with Civil 3D 2016+, Google Earth, Trimble Business Center; proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
• Ability to pass background/drug screens and maintain a valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise survey drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble software per field data and specs.
• Collaborate with survey crew chiefs, project managers, and staff to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with preparing legal descriptions, boundary computations, easement exhibits, and related docs.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure drawings meet standards and deadlines.
• Review drawings for accuracy before submission to managers or clients.
• Support multiple projects concurrently while meeting schedules.
