Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to support the Survey Department in Morris Plains, NJ. Candidates should have at least 2 years of civil engineering or survey CAD drafting experience and strong communication skills.

The role involves processing and importing field data into a CAD environment to develop survey plans and documents under the supervision of a Project Surveyor. GPI offers a positive work culture with opportunities to contribute to transportation

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience using Civil3D or Bentley software.
• Ability to read, write, and understand plans in English.
• Experience with Civil/Site projects is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Terrestrial LiDAR collection and initial processing.
• Prepare Existing Conditions Surveys using AutoDesk Civil3D and MicroStation software.
• Perform 3D modeling and data extraction for Civil Engineering and Surveying Applications.
