Alliant Engineering has an opening for a Survey Office CAD Technician to support Professional Land Surveyors in preparing boundary surveys, existing conditions surveys, and plats. You will draft and revise drawings, perform simple calculations, and ensure accuracy under supervision.

The role emphasizes entry-level drafting support, basic CAD tasks, and a collaborative team environment within our survey department in Florida. Proficiency with CAD tools and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualificações

• Two-year technical education in survey technology or equivalent CAD drafting experience.
• Platting experience preferred (2+ years).
• Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D or higher.
• Experience with MicroStation is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-technical, basic drafting support for assigned projects.
• Create detailed drawings from sketches and plans using CAD software.
• Review work for completeness before submission to survey professionals.
• Revise drawings and perform simple calculations under instruction.
