Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to support a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Survey Project Manager. You will ensure accuracy in topo maps, boundary surveys, and subdivision plans, and prepare exhibits and base drawings from survey data and construction plans.

The role emphasizes office work with occasional field tasks. Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D, plus experience in 3D site modeling and construction staking,

Qualifications

• Experience processing survey data and building 3D site models.
• Proficiency with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in construction staking and construction layout is a plus.
• Field surveys experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Survey Project Manager to prepare topo maps, boundary surveys, subdivision plans, and exhibits.
• Use CAD files to support survey field crews for construction staking.
• Build, check and modify digital terrain models (3D site models) for stakeout and machine guidance.
• Work primarily in the office with occasional field tasks.
