Civil and Environmental Consultants in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a Survey CAD Technician. You will assist the Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in preparing various survey maps and models while demonstrating excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process.

This full-time role primarily involves office work, although fieldwork may occasionally occur. Candidates should have strong CAD skills and experience in surveying and construction staking.

Qualifications

• Experience processing survey data and building 3D site models.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and field surveys is a plus.
• Ability to conduct construction staking and layout.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Survey Project Manager.
• Prepare topographic survey maps, boundary surveys, and subdivision plans.
• Build, check, and modify digital terrain models for construction.

Skills

Experience processing survey data and building 3D site models with Trimble Business Center

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience

Experience in construction staking and construction layout

Experience conducting field surveys

Experience processing aerial photography and terrestrial or aerial LiDAR
