Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to work on diverse projects with a national footprint and strong culture. The role centers on producing drawings, validating survey data, and aligning work with Atwell’s standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.

You will collaborate with project managers, ensure adherence to revisions from agencies and clients, and contribute to meeting chargeability goals in a flexible, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Associated Degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking.

Responsibilities

• Resourceful support for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• CAD proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Generate drawings such as ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and staking.
• Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions, including ALTA surveys and easement docs.
• Edit and modify plans per agency/municipality/client revisions per directives.
• Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders about workflow and chargeability goals.

As a Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

Resourceful Support:Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.

CAD Proficiency:Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.

Drawing Production:Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.

Survey Data Analysis:Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.

Plan Modification:Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.

Workflow Coordination:Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Qualifications

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
• High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree Preferred
