Job description

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Survey CAD Technician to join our Greensboro, NC office.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in surveying technology/geomatics, civil engineering, or related field and/or registration as a SIT, but not required.
• 5+ years’ experience in land surveying.
• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills, experience with survey computations and platting, as well as field experience required.
• Work to be performed in both office and field settings.
• Land Development survey experience with emphasis on commercial, residential, various route types, and construction layout is preferred.
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, robotic total stations, Civil 3D 2013, MicroStation, Geopak required; PLSCADD and ArcGIS are a plus.
• Proficiency in preparing and organizing field sketches, digital photographs, daily file submittals, checklists, timesheets, and vehicle navigation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, and Trimble Data Transfer is advantageous.
• Must pass drug screening, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record per company policies.
