Job Description

CivilCorp, an ESP Company, is a professional service firm offering civil engineering and land surveying services throughout Texas. CivilCorp’s main office is in Victoria, Texas, with additional offices in Houston, Fulshear, Corpus Christi, and Round Rock.

CivilCorp is seeking a Survey Technician for the Fulshear and Victoria offices.

Qualifications:

1. Associate degree or higher in surveying technology/geomatics, civil engineering, or related field, and/or registration as a SIT (not required).
2. 5+ years of experience in land surveying.
3. Strong self-motivation and organizational skills, with experience in survey computations, platting, and fieldwork.
4. Ability to perform work both in the office and in the field.
5. Experience with TxDOT surveying or drafting is a plus.
6. Proficiency with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, robotic total stations, Civil 3D 2013, MicroStation, Leica, Geopak; PLSCADD and ArcGIS experience are advantageous.
7. Computer skills including submittal of daily files, data downloading, preparation of field sketches and digital photos, completing checklists and timesheets, and vehicle navigation.
8. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, and Trimble Data Transfer is a plus.
9. Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
