As a CAD Technician at Ware Malcomb, you will assist the Land Surveying Manager or Survey Project Manager in the preparation of multiple land surveying projects. This position is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to gain exposure to various projects while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Your Role

• Assist in creating and provide AutoCAD support on ALTA, boundary, improvement, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, subdivision plats, legal descriptions and exhibits.
• Perform deed research, deed plotting and map checks.
• Review and understand local and state ordinances.
• Support Land Development group when needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Degree or Certificate in Land Surveying or related field is preferred.
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the following technical skills: Surveying procedures and practices, including the preparation of legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, field surveying, and land platting.
• MS Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency.
• Civil construction plan reading and interpretation experience.
