Job description

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Survey CAD Technician in our Cornelius, NC office. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing Engineering, Surveying, and Planning firm!

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in surveying technology/geomatics, civil engineering, or related field and/or registration as a SIT (not required).
• 5+ years’ experience in land surveying.
• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills, experience with survey computations and platting, and field experience required.
• Position may require fieldwork.
• Land development survey experience is required, with emphasis on land development projects a plus.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D 2016 or higher, Google Earth, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, robotic total stations.
• Ability to manage files, download data, prepare/organize field sketches & digital photographs, and complete daily checklists.
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record per company policy.
