Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is seeking a Surveillance Technician / Power Limited Technician to install, program, maintain, and support surveillance and low-voltage systems across the enterprise. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, document configurations, and ensure compliance with gaming and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Two year degree in Electronics and/or equivalent preferred.
• Two years’ minimum experience in electronics-related field.
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, cabling standards, and components.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, electrical blueprints, and familiarity with CAD.
• Basic understanding and/or training on radio communication equipment.
• MN Power Limited Technician license within 1 year of employment.
• Understanding and working knowledge of PCs, network switches, and networking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to obtain certificates for scissor lift, boom lift, and bucket lift.
• Not related to, or involved with, cash-handling areas.
• Valid Class D driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, maintain, test, terminate, relocate, and remove IP-based and analog surveillance cameras and equipment.
• Manage IP video networks, NVR/DVRs and VMS across multiple sites with proper access control and documentation.
• Lead improvement projects from planning to documentation and implementation.
• Administrate VMS software including server settings, IP device settings, and user permissions.
• Perform device-specific configuration changes following best practices and regulations.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for all systems.
• Install and maintain structured cabling systems (copper and fiber).
• Configure cameras for analytics and License Plate Recognition (LPR) technologies.
• Provide high-level customer service through other technology systems installations.
• Prioritize and close incoming work orders and tickets efficiently.
• Create and manage maps and saved views on devices for end-users monitoring.
