Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians seeks a Surveillance Infrastructure Technician to install, deploy, and optimize surveillance systems across properties, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance. The role involves design input, schematics review, and maintaining system integrity to support uninterrupted gaming activities.

Responsibilities include cable infrastructure deployment, documentation, on-site operations, on-call support, and safety protocol adherence in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year experience in surveillance tech, IT, or related field.
• Certification in Low Voltage/IT security or related field is preferred.
• FOI certification must be obtained within 1 year from start date.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots surveillance components.
• Deploys cabling infrastructure including fiber, copper, and power cabling with proper labeling.
• Documents installations and testing results for compliance and auditing.
• Operates equipment such as lifts and ladders; uses hand and power tools.
• Collaborates with IT, facilities, vendors to ensure integrated deployment.
• Keeps accurate inventory of surveillance components and tools.
• Maintains familiarity with SDM, tribal gaming regs, and relevant policies.
• Responds to on-call enterprise technical support needs 24/7.
• Performs additional duties to support department operations.
