Job summary

Durango Casino & Resort in Henderson, NV is seeking a Surveillance Agent to provide and maintain a proactive surveillance operation protecting assets and licenses. You will be familiar with gaming regulations and laws, operate CCTV systems, and observe and report violations.

Lead and train surveillance staff, demonstrate strong judgement under pressure, and ensure confidentiality of operations. Prior surveillance experience and gaming registration eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming registration.
• Minimum 3 years previous Surveillance Agent experience preferred.
• Must pass written Surveillance test.
• Must be able to work quickly and accurately under high stress situations.
• Demonstrate sound judgement and mature decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a proactive surveillance operation that protects the Company's assets and licenses.
• Operate all Surveillance CCTV and related equipment.
• Observe and report all violations of law, regulations and procedures.
• Cooperate with other departments and Station Casinos Surveillance Departments in protecting assets.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding surveillance activities and procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities, including coaching, training and motivating surveillance personnel.
• Conduct surveillance reviews or audits to confirm transactions or events.

Job description

Provide and maintain a proactive surveillance operation that protects the Company's assets and licenses. Be familiar with gaming regulations, Company policies and procedures, and have working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws. Operate all Surveillance CCTV and related equipment. Accurately and confidentially observe and report all violations of law, regulations and procedures. Cooperates with other departments and other Station Casinos Surveillance Departments in protecting the assets of the company. Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to the conduct, operations, controls and procedures involving surveillance activities. Demonstrate leadership abilities, including but not limited to, coaching, training and motivating all surveillance personnel in their daily activities. Knowledge of casino games and understand all relevant aspects of each game, such as dealing procedures, counting strategies and methods of cheating. Conducts surveillance reviews or audits to confirm transactions or events.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work quickly and accurately under high stress situations. Able to perform all functions required of a Surveillance Agent.
