Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Surveillance Operator to monitor activity across the property using CCTV systems, ensuring security and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes focus, attention to detail, and accurate reporting to protect guests and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in security or surveillance, and flexibility to work varied shifts. Training on CCTV equipment and alarms is provided as part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Observe activities of guests and staff on the casino floor and related areas via CCTV for violations and security concerns.
• Identify safety hazards in casino areas to protect guests and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment and generate accurate reports as needed.
• Assist in training others on CCTV equipment and alarm systems.

Through professional vigilance, sound judgment, and consistent accuracy in documenting and reporting activity, you contribute directly to maintaining a trusted and well‑protected gaming experience that reflects the high standards of the Live! brand.

Responsibilities

Where You’ll Make an Impact:

• Observe all activities of guest and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed circuit television system for criminal activities and/or violation of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Observe areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guest and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
• Assist in training in CCTV equipment and alarms.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
• Must be able to read/write in the English language.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in security and/or surveillance.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
• Must have excellent vision and hearing.
• Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
• Stand and walk 30% of the time.
