Job summary

Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is seeking a Surveillance Operator for the 3rd shift to monitor all gaming areas and nearby spaces. The role requires vigilance, quick reporting of infractions, and coordination with the Surveillance leader on duty to ensure compliance with all procedures.

The ideal candidate will support a busy gaming environment, maintain logs, and participate in ongoing training while meeting the requirement to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous surveillance experience preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of work stations and equipment.
• Performs close watch duties as assigned.
• Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Receives periodic on-the-job training.
• Diligently monitors all company assets and employees for violations.
• Keeps up-to-date logs and records of activity.
• Enforces procedures by reporting non-compliance with policy or gaming regulation.
• Maintains detailed, accurate surveillance logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This position is Full Time and will be scheduled 32 hours per week.

The Surveillance Operator is vigilant in observing all areas of the gaming facility and surrounding areas and reports all procedural infractions and criminal activity to the Surveillance leader on duty.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of work stations and equipment.
• Performs close watch duties as assigned.
• Maintains familiarity with gaming law, regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Receives periodic on-the-job training.
• Diligently monitors all company assets as well as monitoring all employees for procedural violations.
• Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of procedures and policies for all departments.
• Enforces department procedures by observing and reporting any failure to comply with company policy or gaming regulation.
• Maintains up to the minute, detailed, and accurate logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous surveillance experience preferred
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
