Job summary

Command Investigations, LLC is seeking Surveillance Investigators to join a dynamic team. Prior investigative experience, integrity, independence, and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment are valued.

Pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, depends on state. Schedule varies; weekends, overtime, and holidays required. Location is on the road with possible overnight stays; growth opportunities exist within a national organization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years (minimum 2,000 hours) of demonstrated Private Investigator experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• College degree preferred
• Computer skills including upload of video and still images into an electronic system
• Personal auto insurance with liability limits of 100k/300k/100k
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
• Willingness to travel and work the required schedule (early start)
• Complete Command Investigations, LLC employment application and pre-employment tasks

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveillance investigations by observing, tracking, and documenting subjects’ activities
• Capture detailed video evidence and prepare comprehensive client reports
• Perform vehicular and on-foot surveillance with discretion
• Develop and execute pre-surveillance planning for each location and case
• Record and document investigative findings through video and written reports
• Capture subjects in various environments and environments like public spaces or workplaces
• Submit reports and video evidence within required timeframes
• Communicate with team leaders about positions, observations, and strategy
• Utilize surveillance equipment, web-based tech, and investigative software
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing Command Investigations
• Uphold safety and adhere to legal and ethical requirements
