Job summary

Command Investigations, LLC is seeking Surveillance Investigators to join a dynamic team. You will conduct field surveillance by observing, tracking, and documenting subjects’ activities, capturing video evidence, and preparing reports for client review while traveling as needed.

This full-time role offers a pay range of $25–$30 per hour (dependent on state) and a schedule that varies with business needs, including early start times, weekends, and potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Private Investigator experience (not including law enforcement, military, etc.)
• Louisiana state Private Investigator license is required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College degree preferred
• Must carry personal auto insurance with liability limits of 100k/300k/100k
• Ability to work independently and meet client needs
• Willingness to travel and work odd hours, including early starts

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveillance by observing, tracking, and recording subjects' activities and creating comprehensive reports
• Perform vehicular and on-foot surveillance with discretion
• Develop pre-surveillance plans tailored to location and case
• Capture video evidence and document findings for client review
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
• Communicate positions and observations with team leads promptly
• Utilize surveillance equipment and investigative software
