$26.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Overview:

Surveillance Investigator
Queens, NY area
Immediate need for a Surveillance Investigator within the largest worldwide investigative solutions company.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct video surveillance (fixed/mobile)
• Obtain videotaped documentation of subjects
• Conduct background/activity checks and courthouse research
• Write and record statements
• Conduct scene investigations
• Draft thorough and detailed investigative reports
• Upload video, photographic, and audio evidence into case management system
• Maintain constant alertness while driving in a safe manner

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Private Investigator in New York and surrounding states
• Experience in conducting surveillance (fixed/mobile)
• Ability and willingness to travel within a multi-state coverage area
• Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours including weekends
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with minimum auto liability insurance
• Possess or willing to purchase covert camera, digital video camera with uploading capabilities, and a Windows-based laptop with Microsoft Word

Educational/Experience Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• Experience in conducting surveillance (fixed/mobile)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Self-starter and accountable for results
• Military or Law Enforcement background
• Experience as a Private Investigator or detective
• Experience in Quality Control/Loss Prevention

Salary Range:
