Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants, confirming current activities and capabilities to assist with insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types, including workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation
• Experience with witness interviews or video monitoring
• Experience in incident reporting and investigations
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, video cameras, and cell phones
• Ability to focus and multitask in a dynamic environment
• Ability to manage stressful situations professionally
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher, preferably in Criminal Justice
• Security, Loss Prevention, Military, Law Enforcement, or insurance investigations experience
