Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to confirm activities and assist with insurance claim administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types, including workers’ compensation, liability, property, and disability.
• Use surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications (Must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete the Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation course.
• Experience with witness interviews or video monitoring.
• Experience in incident reporting or investigations.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, video cameras, and cell phones.
• Ability to focus and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage stressful situations professionally.
• Ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher, preferably in Criminal Justice.
• Security/Loss Prevention, Military, Law Enforcement, or insurance investigations experience.
