Job summary

DigiStream Investigations is hiring for an entry-level Surveillance Investigator to join our New England team in Connecticut. You will conduct undercover surveillance to collect video evidence of suspected fraud, with no PI license required and all equipment provided on day one.

Starting pay is $20/hour, with average rookies earning $44,000–$54,000 annually. There are opportunities for performance-based raises, PTO from day one, and a 401(k) with company match after six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must currently live in Connecticut.
• Open availability, including weekends and holidays (average 50 hours/week).
• Ability to start as early as 5am daily with some evenings.
• Must pass DMV and background checks.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments (expenses paid).
• Minimal supervision; independent in the field and updates to Ops team by quick calls/texts.
• Tailing subjects by foot and vehicle; driving in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct undercover surveillance to gather video evidence of suspected fraud.
• Adapt to changing environments with quick thinking and disguises.
• Tail subjects by foot and vehicle during surveillance.
• Drive in urban, rural, and suburban areas under various weather conditions.
• Work with the field team and report updates to operations.
