FTAI Aviation seeks an Inspector to perform inspections and disassembly/repair of civil aviation jet engine parts in a shop environment. You will follow manufacturer data, maintain calibration, and ensure records support return-to-service decisions. Strong attention to detail and English language proficiency are required.
Leading a small team, you will coordinate inspections, interpret OEM manuals, and uphold regulatory standards for safe, compliant maintenance operations at our Miami site.

The Inspector articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness service bulletins, service letters for performing preliminary hidden-damage, in process and final inspections on civil aviation on aviation airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
