Job description

At PENN Entertainment, this role provides daily supervisory and operational responsibilities within the Surveillance Department, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and maintaining customer service excellence. Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage the overall daily operations of a designated shift.
• Support and administer operational goals, monitoring performance and profit objectives.
• Create effective and efficient staff schedules while maintaining labor costs and staffing coverage mandated by gaming regulations.
• Assist in the budget process for the department, providing recommendations, reporting budget concerns, and supporting budget initiatives.
• Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
• Enforce all gaming laws and regulations related to the Surveillance Department.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, internal control, and policy procedures.
• Safeguard company assets and submit reports for incidents, infractions, and violations.
• Examine and analyze physical property, processes, and procedures to enforce compliance policies.
• Serve as liaison with gaming regulators, public law enforcement, and other agencies in the absence of the Surveillance Shift Manager or Director.
• Review financial reports to ensure operational efficiency and quality control of the surveillance operation.
• Conduct, supervise, and prepare reports related to incidents.
• Assist in managing attendance and time records.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and report potential issues to management.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; one to two years of casino surveillance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge of casino operations, casino games, cheating, and embezzlement scams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems and database software; advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications, email, incident reporting, and report writing.
• Strong mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percent, and interpretation of bar graphs.
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
