Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Casino Surveillance position in the Columbus area. The role focuses on observing and reporting gaming violations, operating monitor room systems, and learning card-count procedures while maintaining compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.

You’ll train on-site, handle report writing, and support multiple departments as needed. A 21+ age requirement and a high school diploma are essential, with capability in math, computers, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical and computer functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
• Able to work in low light conditions.
• Ability to multi-task and rotate shifts.
• Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits as required.
• Must possess TiPS training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Requires 20/20 corrected vision.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Knowledge of different table games.
• Six months of on-the-job training or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report gaming violations and thefts.
• Operate monitor room equipment and basic computer functions.
• Participate in court actions related to gaming violations and learn two card-count systems.
• Learn all games and identify cheating indicators.
• Write proper reports in a timely manner.
• Respond to surveillance supervision and control requests.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
