Acrisure is seeking a Surplus Lines Associate in its Regulatory Affairs Department in Grand Rapids, MI. This role provides comprehensive support to employees, leaders, and agency partners with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

You will handle tax compliance submissions, maintain regulatory documents, and stay current with multi-state tax requirements. Strong Excel and Office skills, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a customer service or administrative role is required.
• Enrollment in a degree program in accounting, business administration or general business, insurance, or legal studies will be considered.
• Accounting experience is preferred but not required; audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiates tax compliance submissions as assigned by senior team member.
• Verifies the applicability and accuracy of all tax compliance documents received and filed.
• Maintains day-to-day regulatory documents in an organized and timely fashion.
• Maintains confidences and protects operations by maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
• Remains informed of multi-state tax requirements and executes tax reports as needed.
• Supports team with administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
