North Florida Surgeons is seeking an Acute Care General Surgeon (Surgicalist) to join the private practice team at the Baptist South Division. The role involves physician leadership in acute care, with responsibilities spanning hospital consults, emergency room coverage, and postoperative follow-up.

The ideal candidate will work with two dedicated PAs, manage a high volume of acute surgical cases, and operate in an environment with robotic capabilities.

Job Description:

Responsible for care and treatment of patients including diagnostic and therapeutic intervention. Medical care, records/documentation, standards of care, patient and community relations, and regulatory compliance. Residents and/or Fellows are accepted.

What You Can Expect as a General Surgicalist:

• Hours are Monday - Monday (26 weeks/year) 7:00 - 5:00. Rare night call. Rotating holidays.


• 7 Days on/7 Days off Model
