Enovis is seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join the Enabling Technologies group in Austin, TX. The role focuses on design, integration, and optimization of advanced surgical navigation and visualization systems, with emphasis on system-level architecture and performance across software and hardware components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or complex product development
• Experience with software development using C# and Unity preferred
• Experience integrating software with physical hardware systems (e.g., cameras, robotics, tracking systems)
• Strong understanding of optical navigation systems and real-time visualization technologies
• Experience with SDLC, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Define system-level architecture for surgical navigation and visualization platforms
• Translate clinical and product requirements into detailed system specifications
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and clinical teams for integration
• Support real-time surgical visualization and augmented reality capabilities
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and safety across hardware/software
• ticipate in verification and validation activities per medical device standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues across integrated environments
• Document system architecture, requirements, interfaces, and verification plans
• Support risk management including system hazard analysis and mitigation
• Contribute to design reviews and cross-functional discussions
• Support lifecycle management and platform architecture improvements
