BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery department. The role requires managing ASA III-V cases, TIVA or partial TIVA, arterial lines, and triple lumens.

As a Surgery Veterinary Technician, you will assist with anesthesia, monitor during procedures, and guide patients through pre-, intra-, and post-op stages. The team emphasizes ongoing learning, collaboration, and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in anesthesia-related procedures and patient monitoring.
• Ability to place IV catheters and endotracheal tubes.
• Familiarity with anesthesia plans and perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical cases and anesthesia-related procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and intervene for complications.
• Perform IV catheter placement and endotracheal intubation.
• Assess vitals and patient status during pre-, intra-, and post-op.
• Manage fluids, CRIs, and anesthesia equipment.
• Document patient histories, dosing, and recoveries.
