Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Surgical Unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based and compassionate care.

Minimum qualifications include an active RN license and BLS; BSN is required within four years if experience is under 12 months. The position features a 36-hour work week and a competitive hourly wage range.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops an individualized plan of care with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: Directs the care team and coordinates care per plan, managing time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews achievement of goals and outcomes; revises plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Adheres to legal/ethical standards, documents accurately, and maintains licensure requirements.
