Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Unit at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications include active RN license and BLS; for those with less than 12 months of experience, a BSN must be obtained within four years. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and information from interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Implement: Directs care delivery and coordinates with the team to meet plan of care.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes, revises plan as needed, and reassesses.
• Professionalism: Maintains ethical and regulatory standards and accurate documentation.
