Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Surgery unit at the Florence, Kentucky location. This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly role with a 1st shift schedule.

The RN will provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as needed. Compassion, respect and patient advocacy are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice in the state where work is performed.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures and medication calculations.
• Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to facility and area.
• Prior RN experience in an OR setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care using the nursing process.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed health care team members as appropriate.
