Job summary

NMC Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the RN/LPN in delivering quality patient care at the Newton, KS location. This is a full-time role with a 36-hour work week and a night shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, offering a 20% differential for night hours.

Education required includes a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of the PCT certification course. Active CNA or PCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of the PCT certification course.

Responsibilities

• Participates in routine patient care and activities of daily living.
• Performs delegated nursing tasks under RN/LPN supervision.
• Reports patient changes and cares provided to the primary nurse promptly.
• Contributes to continuity of care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
