Job summary

NMC Health plc is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the Medical Unit at the Medical Center in Newton, KS. The role works under RN/LPN supervision to provide basic care and comfort, with duties including routine patient care and basic nursing tasks.

This full-time night shift (11:00pm–7:00am) offers a 20% shift differential based on experience, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent (PCT track). Certification in CNA or PCT and BLS are required.

NMC Health is looking for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) who will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well‑being of the patient and family. The Assistive Personnel (CNA or PCT) provides basic healthcare and support to patients in a manner that would lead to high levels of patient satisfaction. Other functions of the position may include monitor technician, activities of daily living and basic nursing procedures. The PCT functions as a member of the patient's interdisciplinary team.

Location: 600 Medical Center Dr, Newton KS 67114

Full Time: 36 hours per week

Shift:Night 11:00pm - 7:00am

Pay: Based on experience; with a 20% shift differential for Night Shift

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required to be
• completed or actively in progress. (PCT ONLY) Successful completion of the PCT certification course.
