Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate of Nursing and two (2) years RN experience in applicable clinical specialty.
• Licensed RN in Arizona (AZ).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Mentors others in competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, patient safety goals, and inservice education.
• Evaluates care provided by staff.
• Coaches to improve care.
• Ensures standard of care is maintained.
• Understands ethical dilemmas and coordinates the process for Ethics Consult.
• Coordinates patient flow on the unit to support timely and effective care.
