Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Progressive Care PCU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver pre-operative and post-operative care, advocate for patients, and ensure exceptional experiences.

The RN will assess patients during admission and every shift, perform provider-ordered procedures, document care, and monitor medication effects while maintaining up-to-date

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Active RN license in Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
