Job summary

Grady Health System seeks a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to provide age-appropriate, compassionate care in inpatient units. Under supervision of RNs/LPNs/Physicians, you will maintain safety, gather information, and use technology to support care delivery.

Responsibilities include personal care, basic therapies delegated by licensed staff, and potential cross-training as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per Georgia rules.
• Option: PCT program certificate or equivalent nursing fundamentals transcript.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, compassionate patient care in inpatient settings.
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with daily living activities.
• Collect information, communicate effectively, and utilize technology.
• Perform basic nursing tasks as delegated by licensed professionals.
• Support patient advocacy, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
