Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgery Orderly / Transporter to support Surgical Services by moving patients and handling supplies. This role requires reliable communication and the ability to assist with department housekeeping as needed.

The position notes a Safety Sensitive environment with a BLS certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Reports to: Surgery Director Exempt Status: NO

Position Purpose:

All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision of providing the region’s best clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect for others and pride in performance.

This position is responsible for safely transporting patients via gurney or wheel chair to and from surgery and assists in transferring patients between the bed, gurney and/or wheel chair.

Transport patients in house to and from Surgical Services. Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association
